Geocache Description:

A short two stage multi-cache mainly on good footpaths, although finding the first stage will involve a certain amount of agility - hence the high terrain rating.

The title of this cache is a rather suitable anagram of "RAF Dunsfold" - try googling this for an idea of what's involved in this cache...

On top of a small hill at the southern end of Dunsfold Aerodrome stands the remains of the WWII Battle Headquaters. Should the airfield have come under attack, it would have been from this fortified location that the defense would have been organised.

Today the airfield sees a different kind of action - the BBC's popular Top Gear motoring program is filmed here and the hill provides a good view over the southern end of their test track. Bring along the binoculars and you may just get a sight of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, or 'The Other One' squealing the wheels of a super car or two! You never know, you may even catch a view of the Stig with his helmet off!

The aerodrome was also the location used for the awesome airport chase sequence in the latest Bond adventures. The Boeing 747 which can be seen parked on the airfield was the one demolished by a truck on multiple occasions during the filming of the chase and is no longer airworthy, I presume that it is now stuck here as I can't imagine it fitting on the back of a low loader!

The cache is a large (2.5 ltr) loc-loc style container. In keeping with the theme, it contains (amongst other things) four Matchbox toy cars so feel free to bring one along to swap. There is parking available for a couple of cars nearby at: N 51 06.642 W 000 32.496.

This is not a cache and dash, although it should take under an hour.

As a result of initial feedback I have decided to add a cryptic hint for the first stage and provide the following additional advice:

Note the terrain rating. Wear waterproof walking boots or wellies. Bring a torch.
