The Meaning of Echuca (#3) Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

WazzaAndWenches: There's a very high likelyhood that this cache is a long way downstream after the recent floods. I am not in a position to check on it at the moment so, unfortunately, it has to be archived.

Geocache Description:

The third and final cache in a small series based around the Echuca area.

Read about the history of Echuca-Moama at www.echucamoama.com

This is the final cache in a small series based around the Echuca area. We do not have a lot of caches in the local area, so I thought this might encourage a few visitors to come along and inject a few dollars in to the local economy whilst looking for new caches.

Although GZ is a little way out of town, it is still a popular spot for fisherman and boaties alike. Watch for snakes during the hot months.

The terrain and difficulty ratings are based on the fact that this is a non-signposted area with a lot of winding tracks and may be quite a battle in a 2wd vehicle after rain (What rain? We haven't had rain for years!)

The only gate is the entrance to Echuca Regional Park. Don't open any other gates.

Two visits to GZ have yeilded two different sets of co-ords. I have used the average for GZ, although there was only about 4m difference between the two sets.

The cache is a small sistema with log book and a few small swaps.
