Geocache Description:

What starts in a parking lot, will end in an aneurysm, so intense you will run for the light at the end of the tunnel. Catch the Fever.

I finally found a location worthy of a cache. The most scenic way to approach this cache is with a kayak down the Fever River; although it can be found with some hiking and a car ride. Every time I have been here, I have been greeted by a gentle breeze, cows, Bald Eagles, wood ducks, geese, and sometimes brook trout. Bugs may be present during summer and fall.
You WILL get dirty while searching for this cache.

This is a two part multi-cache. The first is a small camo'ed Tupperware container, containing the final's location and some trinkets. The final is a medium camo'ed Tupperware cache with some swag, logbook and soon to be a camera. Please take your picture, sign your name and post if it is almost full. I apologize for the lack of bountiful swag - I am on a college budget.

YOU WILL NEED A FLASHLIGHT AND BE PREPARED TO GET DIRTY!

If by kayak:
Drop off return vehicle at Pullout 1 waypoint. Return to Parking 1 waypoint. Search for the first cache. After finding the first cache, put in under the bridge near the Parking 1 waypoint. Follow river downstream until you see the old piling and are approaching the coordinates of the "final" cache. Then beach nearby and begin searching. After you are done finding the cache, be sure to explore the nearby territory. At this point boots and a flashlight are a NECESSITY. To fully experience this cache, proceed in the direction of the light until you reach the Aneurysm. When done proceed down the river to the final Pullout 1 waypoint. (Total distance 6 miles by paddle, 8 miles by car). Plan on this ride taking 3-4.5 hours depending on water depth and speed. The river is a very gentle one with few ruffles, sometimes getting wide and shallow, others fast and narrow. But the view is always spectacular. BONUS CACHE coming soon for kayak'ers only.

If by foot or car:

Park at Parking 1 waypoint, and find the first cache. After locating the cache, proceed to Parking 2 waypoint. At this point in your search boots and a flashlight are a NECESSITY. When there, you may resume your search for the final stage. Stay to the left of the stream. Your direct path will take you to the highlight of this multi, the Aneurysm. (Total distance 5 miles by car 1/2 mile by foot)

To me, this is a REAL Geocache, a unique place you never would have found without this game of ours. Please be respectful of the location. It will take lots of CITO to get this one back up to clean standards. Please re-hide the caches carefully so as not to arise suspicion from muggles. Please use your best judgment while searching; I am NOT responsible for your negligence.
