Puisqu'il n'y a pas eu de maintenance dans un laps de temps raisonnable, j'archive cette cache.

Geocache Description:

Un petite cache à deux pas d'un des plus beaux points de vue sur Namur

Merci a Ysengrin qui a cree cette cache il y a 8 ans et a fait l'objet de plus de 530 visites!!

On regrettera de ne pas pouvoir grimper en haut de la tour de l’école hôtelière, d’où la vue doit être imprenable… C’est ici qu’arrivait le téléphérique de Namur, à une époque pas si lointaine. Aujourd’hui, le bâtiment est à l’abandon ; les pouvoirs publics hésitent entre réaffectation et démolition.
Surveillez vos enfants de près, le bâtiment peut s’avérer dangereux (la cache ne se trouve d’ailleurs pas directement à l’intérieur). Et pour les plus téméraires, laissez-vous tenter par une vue imprenable sur les toits. Mais gare ! L’école toute proche et la clientèle du quartier seront peut-être méfiantes. La rue s’appelle « le milieu du Monde ». Attendez plutôt la fin de journée. Notez toutefois que vous prenez ce risque sous votre entière responsabilité… Comme d’hab. Un tout grand merci à Thermines pour son aide précieuse.

We shall regret we cannot climb in the top of the tower of the catering school, where from the sight must be impregnable … It is here that once arrived the cable railway of Namur, in a time not so distant. Today, the building is in dereliction ; authorities hesitate between transfer and demolition.
Watch your children closely, the building can turn out dangerous (the hiding place is not moreover directly inside). And for the most rash, be allowed tempt by an open view on roofs. Be carefull ! The quite close school and the clientele of the district will be maybe suspicious. Look at the name of the closer street : Avenue du Milieu du Monde. Wait rather a the end of day. Note however that you take this risk under your whole responsibility... as usually.

Men zal er spijt van hebben niet op de toren van de hotelschool te kunnen klimmen vanwaar het zicht adembenemend moet zijn . Het is hier dat nog niet zo
lang geleden de kabellift van Namen eindigde. Vandaag is het gebouw verlaten, de gezagsdragers twijfelen tussen herstellen en afbreken.
Let aandachtig op de kinderen, het gebouw kan gevaarlijk zijn (de cache ligt er trouwens niet binnen). De durvers zullen zich misschien laten overhalen door het adembenemend uitzicht van op de daken. Maar let op! De dichtbijzijnde school en de klanten van de wijk zijn misschien wel wantrouwig. De straat noemt: "Avenue du Milieu du Monde". Wacht liever tot het einde van de dag. Neem dit risico op
uw volledige verantwoordelijkheid . Zoals gewoonlijk. Hartelijk dank aan Thermines voor zijn hulp en Barontoo ook.
