This cache is located in Merrymeeting Fields Preserve, Woolwich Maine which opened August 2006. The land was a gift to the Lower Kennebec Regional Land Trust from Eleanor Burke in 2003. Her instructions "to maintain the property's open space, forests woodlands and varied habitats. There are two well marked trails at this time. There is parking but due to the snow at this time you will have to park on the very quiet dirt road.
The cache is a small lock and lock container with a log book, pencil, and a few trade items. I hope you enjoy the trails.
The difficulty rating is because of the snow. We snowshoed the trails today.
