It's Subaru - you need a truck. Cache altitude is 10,800 feet !!
The cache is nicely tucked in under a pair of crossed logs and a wind-swept evergreen. It should stay pretty dry...in the summer months that is! Who knows what will happen to the poor, disposable Glad container during a high elevation winter with dozens of feet of snow! Due to a 2001 Ford Explorer with running boards not being able to climb up the steep grade over a HUGE rock (boulder actually!) on the way to the lake near Alice, Colorado, the cache was hidden near the failed point.
Original stash includes log book, herkimer diamond, toy car, doggie treat, keychain bottle opener, guitar pick, and other goodies.
