Near the Arizona Snow Bowl Ski Area. 8800 Foot Elevation.
This is our first hidden cache. From Flagstaff, take highway 180 north towards the Grand Canyon. Watch for the signs indicating the turn off to the Arizona Snow Bowl. Here are the coordinates where you park to start the hike to the cache: N 35:19.190 W 111:43.219 This is where the road makes a sharp right turn. Park on the left where there is a pole fence and trail entrance. Stay to the right as you walk through the gate as there are a couple of trails leading out from this point. The cache is about a 15 minute hike through the pines. When you enter a clearing and can see a small pond, you are in the area....
This hike is not difficult, even for young children. '
