Flatcoat Walker: There is no sign of any maintenance work being done to the path and it is still all closed off. According to the Village Magazine, they are still waiting for estimates from contractors, so it could take a long time.

So, I have decided that it would be best to archive the cache, as there is no chance of being able to reach it any time soon.

Geocache Description:


I thought it would be fun to see how many new cache sites I could find near to Mills in my local area. These will include Watermills and Windmills, some still in use, some now used for other purposes. Most mills are sited in nice surroundings, so I hope you will enjoy visiting them. I will be adding new caches to this series over the next few months.

All the micros are hidden right on public footpaths. None of them will be very close to private houses. Some of them are near public highways, but many are along private roadways, with only footpath access. Please park considerately, and do not drive along any private roads to access the caches.

This micro is situated about half a mile East of Balcombe Village, on the road to Ardingly. It is near the public road but please do not park by the houses. There is parking available around the corner, about 200 yards towards Ardingly, opposite the start of the bridleway around the reservoir.

It was difficult to get an accurate GPS reading, but you should have no problem using hint.
