Falls of Our Fallen
A memorial to Veterans, Law Enforcement, and Fire Fighters
who died in the service of their community and their country.
Structure
Rising 2 ½ stories, the FALLS is constructed of 220 tons of granite supported by 180 cubic yards of reinforced concrete. The FALLS actually has two waterfalls, one facing north and one facing south.
Waterflow
The FALLS has a capacity of 15,000 gallons of water stored in an underground tank and holding pond. Water will circulate up to a rate of 1,000 gallons per minute.
Symbols
Bronze eagles are perched above the FALLS. With wings extended, the eagles are prepared to take flight to escort one of our fallen, which can be seen, cradled in the wings of a silver eagle at the center of the FALLS. Together they will deliver the soul of the fallen to a final resting place.
Purpose
American Heritage National Bank built the FALLS with the intention of keeping the memory alive. We must not forget,
"Their Gift of Life is our Freedom."
