This cache was placed with the
permission of the Tulsa Parks Department, and geocachers are
definitely allowed to hike at Cousins Park (except during curfew
hours.). Anyone who says otherwise is misinformed and may contact
Donna Horton at 669-6644 to discuss the issue. Curfew hours are
from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The cache is located in a well hidden
Tulsa Public Park know as Charles R and Grace Cousins Park or more
affectionately as Cousins Park. This park answers the question
where do you hide a park? Well you hide it right out in the open.
Don't mow it, don't place any amenities there, surround it with
barbed wire and they will not come. The cache should be easy to
find. Don't cross private property to enter the park. The park
extends to the river so bring your fishing pole. Tulsa Park Rules
apply even if the signs are not posted. I'm thinking Skate Park let
me know in your log what you think. Do not park on the side of the
road and climb the barbed wire fence because the traffic on this
road can drive a little fast! Cache
contains a log only so bring a pencil.
