Da un punto di vista paesaggistico, il luogo non è forse dei più
spettacolari, per via dell’ambiente un po’ brullo e per la scarsa
manutenzione, tuttavia per diversi aspetti si presta a luogo di
caccia.
Il cache si trova lungo il fiume, a pochi passi dalla sua foce e se
cercato con un po’ di tempo a disposizione, permette di riscoprire
una zona forse poco conosciuta, ma con piacevoli sorprese lungo il
percorso.
Innanzitutto è possibile accedere al luogo attraverso due tracciati
in parte distinti:
Via terra
- Lungo lo sterrato che vi porta direttamente alle coordinate
dalla Statale (circa 6 Km), che sconsiglio di percorrere con moto
da strada per via del fondo alquanto sconnesso (da evitare anche se
non vi va di sporcare la macchina con la polvere);
- Passando attraverso il “Parco 1° maggio” (si imbocca la strada
segnalata da Fossoghiaia). In questo caso considerate un tratto di
strada piuttosto lungo da fare poi a piedi, o in mountain
bike.
Via acqua
- E’ possibile percorrere il Bevano in canoa scendendo a pochi
passi dalla Statale. Il fiume non presenta particolari difficoltà
per cui il percorso è adatto a tutti senza problemi. Si sconsiglia
questa soluzione solo a chi è completamente a digiuno, per la
lunghezza del tragitto, che può essere un po’ pesante per chi non
ha mai pagaiato. Se procedete a un’andatura di passeggio, potrete
godere di un bellissimo panorama e potrete facilmente osservare la
ricca avifauna del luogo. Naturalmente dovete avere una canoa,
oppure noleggiarla (vedi coordinate parcheggio canoe "La via del
sale").
Dal punto in cui è localizzato il cache è possibile sostare e se
siete armati di binocolo potete fermarvi per un po’ di
birdwatching.
Una volta recuperato il cache, se avete tempo potete proseguire (in
macchina o con altro mezzo) verso la foce. Il posto è un po’
spartano, ma caratteristico per i bungalow che sono stati costruiti
nel tempo e che a tutt’oggi ancora rimangono, nonostante i
tentativi di sanare la situazione di abusivismo, a testimonianza
dei movimenti hippies degli anni ’60.
La spiaggia è circondata dalla pineta, che costituisce una cornice
particolarmente suggestiva, fra il mare e resto del mondo.
Vi sono tratti in cui anche se non segnalato è “tollerato” il
naturismo. Se ne siete infastiditi è bene tenerne conto, in quanto
non esistono delimitazioni a protezione dell’area.
Data la particolarità del luogo, la caccia è sicuramente
consigliata nei periodi estivi, tuttavia il posto è raggiungibile
in qualunque stagione. Come già detto: ricordate in ogni caso che
lo sterrato è molto polveroso!
Il cache è un porta pillole con il solo logbook, per cui portatevi
dietro una matita.
This is not probably one of the most beautiful places, because
of the bare environment and it's lack of maintenance, but for
several reasons it is perfect for good hunting.
The cache is hidden along the river, close to its mouth. If you've
got a bit of time, you can rediscover a less well known area, and a
few pleasant surprises along its way.
First of all you can get there following two different
routes.
By land
- You can follow the dirt road which leads you directly to the
coordinates from the main road (about 6 km). Remember: it's quite a
bad road (very dusty);
- If you prefer you can go through "Parco 1° maggio" (see the
signs from Fossoghiaia). In that case you'll have to consider a
walk (or a mountain bike) 'cos you have to park your car
halfway.
By river
- You can go through Bevano. You need your own kayak, or you can
rent it (see the parking place coordinates for "La via del sale").
It's not difficult and everyone can do it, but it's better if you
are a bit used to paddling ‘cos of the length. If you take your
time, you have the chance to observe the beautiful panorama and the
rich birdlife.
When you get to the cache you can stop, and if you have a pair
of binoculars you can bird watch.
Once you have found the cache, if you have time, you can go on
the river's mouth (perhaps car). You'll find several bungalows,
built in the '60s and typical of hippie culture.
The pinewood that surrounds the beach creates a particularly
striking frame, between the sea and rest of the world.
Part of the beach is dedicated to nudism. Pay attention where you
go if you don't feel comfortable with it 'cos there are no dividing
lines.
You will enjoy the hunt better during summertime, but you can
visit this place any season. As I have already said: don't forget
the dirt road is really dusty!
The cache is a small pill container with log book. BYOP.
Aus landschaftlicher Sicht ist die Oertlichkeit vielleicht nicht
sehr spektakulaer, aus Gruenden der Vernachlaessigung und der ein
wenig kargen Umwelt, aber trotzalledem bietet sie sich aus
verschiedenen Aspekten als "Cachelocation" an. Der Cache befindet
sich am Ufer des Flusses, wenige Schritte von der Muendung
entfernt, und falls man etwas Zeit mitbringt, hat man die
Moeglichkeit ein kaum bekanntes Gebiet zu erkunden, das einige
Ueberraschungen zu bieten hat.
Es gibt zwei Moeglichkeiten, die Oertlichkeit zu erreichen:
Auf dem Landweg:
- Von der Staatsstrasse (Koordinaten) ueber die Schotterpiste
(ca. 6 km), nicht empfehlenswert fuer Strassenmotorraeder wegen des
unbefestigten Belags (fuer staubempfindliche Autofahrer ebenso
nicht empfehlenswert).
- Man kann auch den “Parco 1° maggio” durchqueren (indem man der
beschilderten Strasse ab Fossoghiaia folgt). In diesem Fall ist
eine verhaeltnismaessig lange Strecke zu Fuss oder mit dem Mountain
Bike zu bewaeltigen.
Ueber den Fluss (seeweg):
- Es ist moeglich den Bevanofluss mit dem Kanu zu befahren, man
startet wenige Schritte von der Staatsstrasse. Der Fluss birgt
keine besonderen Schwierigkeiten und ist daher fuer jeden
befahrbar. Aufgrund der zurueckzulegenden Strecke sollte man nicht
nuechtern starten, da es doch anstrengend fuer diejenigen sein
kann, die noch nie gepaddelt haben. Falls man sich langsam
fortbewegt, kann man ein wunderschoenes Panorama geniessen und die
vielen verschiedenen Seevoegel beobachten. Natuerlich solltet Ihr
dafuer ein Kanu haben, oder eines ausleihen (siehe
Kanuparkkoordinaten beim Cache "La via del sale").
Dort wo sich der Cache befindet kann man eine gemuetliche Rast
einlegen und mit dem Feldstecher "Birdwatching" betreiben.
Nachdem Ihr den Cache gehoben habt, koennt Ihr Euch mit
genuegend Zeit (per Auto oder anderem Fahrzeug) zur Muendung
begeben. Der Platz ist zwar spartanisch, aber charakteristisch fuer
die aelteren Bungalows, die immer noch bestehen, obwohl es Versuche
gab, die illegalen Bausituationen zu beseitigen, die in den 60er
Jahren durch die Hippies errichtet wurden.
Der Strand ist von einem Pinienhain umgeben, der einen
beeindruckenden Rahmen zwischen dem Meer und dem Rest der Welt
bildet. An einigen nicht ausgewiesenen Stellen wird Naturismus
(FKK) toleriert.
Aufgrund der Besonderheit des Ortes wird die Suche besonders im
Sommer empfohlen, ist jedoch ganzjaehrig erreichbar.
Der Cache besteht aus einer Pillendose mit Logbuch. STIFT bitte
selbst MITBRINGEN!
