Geocache Description:

Vilnius Basteja (The City Wall Artillery Bastion) was built in the 17th century to defend the city against Swedes and Russians.

It was used as an orphanage in 18th century, later the waist dump site which caused the ceiling to collapse in 1828. Soviets stored veggies there. It is a site to store geocaches these days. Enjoy the view of Vilnius old town, visit the museum which is located near the cache.

The severe reconstruction is taking place at the Basteja site, the cache is temporary hidden in the vicinities.The place is public blah blah blah, please hide it back as found. Thanks ----------------------

The coords provided are only approximate. As with all my hides I try to do as much sampling as possible, but seldom get a professional precision. Don't expect to find the cache exactly at the numbers your GPSr reads. Other than plainly logging "off coords" please add your version of correct coords, this will make your entry useful both for cache owner and other seekers. Appreciate your cooperation.
