Geocache Description:

This multi cache shows the most important parts of a small, peaceful town, located in North-Serbia, with mostly Hungarian inhabitants.

!!!NOTE: the cache has been relocated but due to an internal server error I cannot update. The actual coordinates are the following:

The box is located in a dry-rotten tree. You should dive into the hole deeply.

1. Cemetary.
At the end of 1944 the incoming partizans killed several tens of thousands of mostly innocent Hungarians. This town was affected of these atrocities, too. This is a memento for these events in the cemetary.

2. Town center.
The coordinates point to the Roman Catholic "big" church. There is also a smaller one Catholic and also an orthodox christian church in the town.

3. Park.
The park is beolved by all. The coordinates point to the memorial of the traditional camp of poets in this town. The Hungarian poets living in Serbia meet every year in this town.

4. Statue of József Beszédes.
He was a famous philosopher and hidro-engineer, born it Magyarkanizsa.

5. Traditional cache near the river Tisza.
The cache itself is hidden so that it can be searched also in spring during the flood.
