This cache has been archived.

offline.cacher: The general rule reviewers use to archive a cache is that the cache owner has been notified (through a log entry) by the reviewer and that no response has been forthcoming. This is the case with this cache. As a result it has been archived.
If the owner would like to discuss this issue, please contact me through my geocaching.com profile. Include the GC code for the cache.

Geocache Description:

Container is a large ammo can. Total round trip hike is just over 1 mile from recommended parking. Lots of mud and a few water crossings along this 4 wheeler trail but you should be able to stay dry.

Park at Salt Marsh Park. Trails to cache are across the street. This cache is probably best done in winter as there will surely be lots of bugs when the weather warms up. Follow the canal trail until you get to the middle of the pond then take a right. There will likely be many paintballers to your right as you hike along the canal. They have built the ultimate paintball battlefield out here. They are far enough away that you will probably not see them. If you don't hear them and want to take a look at their total disregard for mother nature follow one of the trails to the right and check out these coords: N36 49.959, W 075 59.375. Before you come out here you might want to get the coords for Flame of Hope II. It's not far away. This cache can also be hiked to from Seatack community park.
