Geocache Description:

The Garbasaurus is a sculpture that commemorates the 20th Speed River cleanup and the hundreds of volunteers who gather each year to clean up our rivers. It was officially unveiled on June 5, 1999. It was constructed from debris taken from the Speed and Eramosa Rivers during the cleanup.

Parking in the summer is available on the road through Royal City Park off Gordon Street immediately adjacent to the Garbasaurus. However, in the winter when the road through the park is closed, the closest convenient parking is in the Goodness Me mall or on Water Street at N43 32.270 W 080 14.525 When replacing cache please make sure it is located as you found it, so muggles will be less likely to notice it. This is a microcache so there isn't room for a pen or pencil. You will need to bring your own to sign the log sheet. Thanks.
