Located in the Tonto National Forest, you will need to hike, horseback or use an all terrain vehicle to get here.
Welcome to the past! This cache is located in an area that is abundant in Native American history. On the top of the mountain northeast of the cache you can see a fairly large indian ruin. (Might require binoculars)
On the small hill south of the cache there is an archaeological site with many detailied and interesting petroglyps. You can clearly see the trail up to this site from the cache.
The cache itself should be fairly easy to find for the average geocacher. Its in an obvious spot.
NOTE: All archaeological sites on public land in Arizona are protected by the Archaeological Resources Protection Act, and state laws that prohibit digging, removing artifacts, damaging, and/or defacing archaeological resources. These laws provide for both prosecution with imprisonment and fines.
If you choose to go exploring after finding the cache, please obey all laws protecting these delicate sites!!!!!
