From the parking area, cross the road to the trail head. It is a short walk to the cache site. The terrain is not difficult and is great for children of all ages. Pets are welcome if leashed.
Sucker's Creek is well known to locals. If you're traveling from the west toward Hope, take exit 170 off highway 1 and turn left at the stop lights. Make the next right turn onto Old Hope Princeton Road. Travel about 1 km to the Chevron station and turn left onto 6th Avenue. Make the next right turn onto Kawkawa Lake Road. Travel to the Coquihalla River, cross the bridge and make an immediate left onto Union Bar Road. The parking area is just ahead on the right before the next bridge. This is a great place for children to see and learn about salmon spawning in B.C. Anytime of year is nice here, but the best time to witness the salmon spawning is from September through November. Enjoy!
