Forsythia Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

bouton: Last year the London Royal Parks management in Greenwich park decided they did not want geocaching activity in the park and asked for any caches that were there to be removed. Since then negotiations have been taking place between the Geocaching Association of Great Britain (GAGB) and the Royal Parks authority to try and get an agreement for geocaching in the parks throughout London. Unfortunately the Royal Parks have now made a decision which is to ban geocaching completely. A consequence of this decision is that I have ben asked to disable our caches.

I've also been asked that you write the Queen and ask her to reconsider!

Good luck.

Geocache Description:

Easily accessible part of Kensington Gardens by a memorial dedicated to William Forsyth, head gardener, after whom the forsythia is named.

The last in our series of Kensington Garden caches. This one can be found among a series of unusual designed park benches in a rarely used stretch of Kensington Gardens. The gates into this section of the park need to be pushed open. But note Kensington Garden itself closes at dusk.

PLEASE put it back right where you found it - otherwise it can be too easily muggled

Update: Apr 29, 2007 Position updated to N 51 30.648, W 000 10.764. Thanks to Ketil for showing me how to edit the coords in my listing.
