This was inspired by a magical cricket day my 3 children
played
Little G scored 32 off 12 balls playing against his school 2
Years
above his age – that cemented their win.
Later the same day his middle brother scored 48 to
significantly
build a base to beet Christ College for the first time.
His older brother was in a 99 run partnership despite that,
the
game was drifting away until he took 4 bowled wickets in one
over
including a hat-trick to set up the win !

It was an interesting Event Cricket Cache that Hello Mrs.
organized this year because the score was composed entirely
of
fours and singles. This is quite unusual for a cricket match by
any
stretch of the imagination. There were no catches in whole of
the
game but plenty of chances were put down by the Geo’s.
In
fact no one was even run out. Magic is getting old so only had
one
spell of bowling along with a single spell from Gyragh.
Little G opened the bowling to Hello Mrs and Magic opened from
the
other end. It was a traditional game they played with 6 ball
overs.
