While looking for a place to put a cache I saw this moose in a meadow and I said "Why not here" in this area.
This cache is contained in an ammo can. It is just a very short distance off the road but the brush is thick and over grown. It's a short walk so you could take the kids but hang on to them because they could get lost in here --- unless they're as tall as a moose. I like this place -- elevation about 10,000'. A nice drive for a day.
Contents:Gloves, an engineer's tape measure, sunblock, pocket knife (really dull), fish stringer, finger nail clippers, Far Side Book, marbles, pencils, log book -- leave the pencils and log book.
