The fastest way to visit these caches is on foot. Park at 40* 31.633'N and 109*34.880'W. If you have an auto that likes sand take the road to the East. Other wise walk. If you have plenty of time and patience, there are 4 wheeler trails with in 500' of all three caches.
This cache is the first of three the round trip walking is about 3 miles from the suggested parking place. This cache is a trash can lid that is over a well. On the bottom of the lid are the coordinates of the second cache. On the way to the second cache look for the pictographs on the rock pillar about 400 feet before the cache. At this site there is an old cattle dip where they used to dip cattle to kill the bugs and keep flies away. I have not been able to find anyone who was here when it was used. I suspect it was built in the 1920's or 1930's. If it is summer bring plenty of water both for you and your dog. This is a nice winter hike as there are a lot of deer in the area.
